Support for UN WFP.

In line with the philosophy of the World Food Program (WFP), which provides food aid to support the eradication of hunger and poverty in developing nations, Itochu Plastics, Inc. has joined the council of the certified NPO corporation "Japan Association for the World Food Program", which is the official contact point for WFP in Japan, and supports activities of the organization. In disasters and conflicts, WFP distributes food to protect the lives of people, provides school lunches to improve the healthy growth of children and the enrollment rate.

Performing donation activities and contributing to society from a global perspective.

In order to support people who need medical and humanitarian assistance for various reasons such as conflict, natural disaster, disease, or poverty, Itochu Plastics Inc., as a member of the Itochu Group, cooperates with private and non-profit international groups that carry out medical and humanitarian aid activities in a neutral, independent, and equitable position such as "Doctors Without Borders" and "Japan Association for the World Food Programme," which provides humanitarian aid to persons who require nutritional support. Furthermore, in Japan, we cooperate with Itochu Corporation's "baseball classroom" for the children with disabilities.

All workers at CIPS always consider the effective utilization of resources. We also employ various methods to reuse expendable items such as photocopying paper, which tends to be consumed without much attention in business activities. As a manufacturer of varied products, CIPS places an importance on the mind that taking good care of each product.
