CIPS provides materials suited to a variety of needs. As well as procuring raw materials for these resins, CIPS optimally utilizes its corporate group network for a variety of purposes, such as finding solutions relating to plastic coloration and molding machines.

Responding to demand on a global scale

Synthetic resins are an essential material in the manufacture of electronic products and household articles. The demand for synthetic resin outside Japan is growing and is expected to greatly surpass that of the Japanese market. In order to respond to overseas demand in a steady and timely manner, CIPS, in collaboration with the ITOCHU Group, is working to develop exports and other overseas business.

Establishment of businesses in western Japan in accordance with regional needs

In the central region (west of Nagoya) and western region of Japan, CIPS has begun developing a small-scale retailing business. Coloration and molding are done by a group company, enabling timely responses to consumer needs for large variety/small lot production.

CIPS has expanded its business activities to respond more precisely to consumer needs through close communication with the market and utilizing the company’s information network built up over the years.

Coloration and molding of synthetic resins enables the creation of uniquely designed products. The subsidiary, Cipnes Co. Ltd., handles these technical operations, taking an integrated approach to quality control that encompasses all stages from planning to delivery.
