(CIPS) was founded by merging the former ITOCHU PLASTIC SYSTEMS INC., which handled packaging materials, electronics materials, and industrial materials, with the former ITOCHU POLYMER INC., which handled synthetic resin materials and industrial products, as well as by integrating the synthetic resin material division of ITOCHU Corporation.
