Itochu Plastics Inc. (CIPS) is a core company of the Itochu Group and, as such, has established basic policies for CSR activities, based on 「the Itochu Corporation Basic Policies for CSR Promotion.」 The policy outlines initiatives to strengthen communication with stakeholders, ensure and enhance safety and reliability in the product, service, and human aspects, and promote CSR-related education and enlightenment.
As a member of the Itochu Group, CIPS is supporting WWF Japan in Activities to Restore the Tropical Rainforests and Conserve Borneo's Ecosystem: a social contribution program that was launched to commemorate the 150th year of the founding of Itochu Corporation.
