Participation in WFP’s “Walk the World”
A charity walk to end hunger among children in developing countries organized by the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Our employees and their families participate in the WFP’s “Walk the World” event to raise awareness of hunger issues and to support the WFP’s activities to expand the circle of support for providing school lunches to schools around the world.
Delivery and donation of Christmas cakes to welfare facilities
As part of our contribution to the local community, we have continuously delivered Christmas cakes to social welfare facilities in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo and Chuo Ward, Osaka, since 2014.
Donations to the ITOCHU Foundation
We support the efforts of the ITOCHU Foundation, which was established for the sound development of youth and operates under the theme of “bringing the joy of reading to all children,” and we continue to make donations to the foundation to support the children who will be responsible for the next generation.
